Exhibition Halls and Venues in the Midlands

The Midlands has no shortage of major exhibition venues. From huge national trade-show halls to conference centres, sporting venues and hotel-based event spaces, exhibitors have very different environments to work with depending on where their next show is taking place.

Tom’s Lights Events provides exhibition and corporate event equipment for venues throughout the region. Our exhibition venue pages give you more specific information about the locations we work with, the types of entertainment we can provide and how we can support exhibitors with delivery, installation and event documentation.

If you already know where you’re exhibiting, choose your venue below.

NEC Birmingham Exhibition Hire

One of the biggest exhibition venues in the country, with major trade shows, consumer exhibitions and corporate events taking place throughout Halls 1–20.

Our NEC service can include interactive stand attractions, arcade games, branded challenges, LED furniture and support with exhibition delivery requirements.

ICC Birmingham Exhibition Hire

A central Birmingham venue suited to conferences, business events, exhibitions, awards and corporate functions.

We can provide equipment for delegate engagement, exhibition stands, networking spaces and evening entertainment, including interactive games and illuminated furniture.

Coventry Building Society Arena Exhibition Hire

A major Coventry event venue capable of hosting exhibitions, conferences, corporate functions and large-scale events.

Use games and interactive equipment to create competition, increase dwell time or build a dedicated activity area within a larger event.

Telford International Centre Exhibition Hire

Telford International Centre provides substantial exhibition and conference space for businesses, trade organisations and event organisers.

Our exhibition equipment can help turn stand space into something visitors can interact with, whether you need a single game or a larger corporate entertainment setup.

NAEC Stoneleigh Exhibition Hire

NAEC Stoneleigh offers a very different exhibition environment, with extensive event facilities suitable for trade shows, specialist exhibitions and larger organised events.

Depending on the show and available space, we can provide games, competitive activities and other equipment to support your exhibition plans.

Edgbaston Stadium Exhibition Hire

Edgbaston Stadium is known for cricket, but its event spaces also provide a distinctive setting for conferences, exhibitions, meetings and corporate functions.

Interactive games and social entertainment can work particularly well where the exhibition forms one part of a wider corporate or hospitality programme.

The Belfry Hotel & Resort Exhibition Hire

The Belfry offers a hotel and resort setting for business events, conferences, corporate hospitality and exhibitions.

Our equipment can be used for delegate entertainment, networking sessions, team activities and evening functions as well as conventional exhibition spaces.

Different Venues Need Different Exhibition Ideas

A successful stand at the NEC may need to compete for attention in a large, busy exhibition hall. A conference exhibition at the ICC might instead depend on short bursts of delegate traffic between sessions. At a hotel or sporting venue, the exhibition itself could form only one part of a wider conference, awards event or corporate programme.

That’s why we don’t treat every exhibition booking as though the only question is how much floor space you have.

Think about what you actually want visitors to do:

  • Stop at the stand: use a visible interactive attraction.
  • Enter a competition: choose a game that lends itself to scores, timed attempts or prizes.
  • Stay for a conversation: create an informal meeting or hospitality area.
  • Interact with the brand: consider branded games and promotional activities.
  • Enjoy an evening function: mix games, arcade equipment and social entertainment.
  • Explore several activities: create a larger games zone for corporate or public events.

Interactive Exhibition Stand Hire

Games can provide a practical reason for somebody to walk onto a stand rather than simply looking at it from the aisle.

A quick challenge can support competitions, lead generation, product launches, giveaways and visitor engagement. It can also make starting a conversation easier for your stand team.

Products such as giant buzz wires, reaction games, prize grabbers, arcade machines and other competitive attractions can all fulfil different roles depending on your audience and available footprint.

Exhibition Entertainment for More Than Trade Stands

Our exhibition venue work isn’t limited to rows of conventional trade stands.

The same venues regularly host conferences, dealer events, company celebrations, awards, networking evenings, employee events and hospitality functions. In those situations, entertainment might be used to create an informal social area rather than attract potential customers.

Arcade machines, interactive games and illuminated furniture can all be used differently once the formal exhibition or conference programme is finished.

Exhibition Stand Furniture and Social Areas

Sometimes the most valuable part of the stand is simply somewhere comfortable to continue a conversation.

Illuminated tables, benches, seating and bar furniture can help divide larger exhibition footprints into different zones. An attraction can sit near the aisle while a quieter seating or meeting area is positioned further into the stand.

That creates a natural progression from attention to interaction to conversation.

Planning a Competition?

A competitive element is one of the easiest ways to turn exhibition entertainment into something commercially useful.

You could run a daily high-score challenge, offer prizes for successful attempts, invite visitors to compete against colleagues or use participation as part of a wider lead-generation campaign.

For a multi-day exhibition, the competition can be refreshed each morning, giving returning visitors another reason to come back to the stand.

Branded Exhibition Games

If brand visibility is the priority, selected games can incorporate company branding and promotional graphics.

This allows the entertainment to become part of the visual presentation of the stand rather than appearing as an unrelated attraction sitting beside it.

Branded challenges can be particularly useful for product launches, campaigns, sponsorship activations and businesses that want visitors photographing or sharing the activity.

Venue Access Matters

Large exhibition venues have their own delivery systems, build-up periods and contractor procedures. In many cases, getting the equipment onto the stand efficiently requires as much planning as choosing it.

Your event organiser may provide information covering vehicle access, loading areas, delivery times, stand numbers, hall access and breakdown procedures. We ask customers to send the relevant exhibitor or supplier information to us so we can plan our delivery and collection around the event’s requirements.

RAMS, PAT Testing and Public Liability Insurance

Professional exhibition venues may also require documentation relating to contractors and equipment before an event.

For applicable Tom’s Lights Events bookings, we can provide Risk Assessments & Method Statements (RAMS), PAT Testing certificates and evidence of our £5 million / £10 million Public Liability Insurance (PLI), as applicable to the booking.

If your organiser has issued an exhibitor manual, contractor pack or documentation deadline, forward the relevant requirements to us when arranging your hire.

Supporting Exhibitors Throughout the Midlands

From major Birmingham exhibition halls to conference centres, sports venues and resort-based corporate events, Tom’s Lights Events can support exhibitors and organisers at venues throughout the region.

Tell us where you’re exhibiting, how much space you have and what you want the equipment to achieve. We can then help you identify suitable options rather than simply filling the stand with products that don’t serve a purpose.

If you’re planning several exhibitions during the year, we can also discuss equipment for multiple venues and dates.

Plan Your Exhibition Hire

Once your stand is booked, send us the venue, exhibition name, dates, stand number, available space and any organiser information relevant to suppliers or contractors.

Whether you’re trying to attract more visitors, create a branded competition, add a networking area or entertain delegates after the conference programme has finished, Tom’s Lights Events can help you put the practical pieces together.
