Booking & Planning
How do I book with Tom's Lights Events?
Booking is simple. Browse our website, choose the products you'd like to hire, check availability for your chosen date and complete your booking online. If you're planning a larger event and need advice, our team can help you build a package that suits your venue, guests and budget.
How far in advance should I make a booking?
We always recommend booking as early as possible, particularly for weekends, school holidays and summer events. Popular products and dates can become fully booked, although we do our best to accommodate last-minute enquiries whenever availability allows.
Can I hire just one product?
Absolutely. Whether you want a single Party Time Bouncy Castle, a Slush Machine 2hrs or one of our Arcade Games, we're happy to help. Many customers book individual items, while others create larger event packages.
Can I combine several products into a package?
Yes. In fact, most customers do. Popular combinations include Bouncy Castles with Soft Play, Ball Pools and Fun Foods. We can also create larger packages for schools, weddings, corporate events and exhibitions.

What types of products do you hire?
We offer a huge range of event entertainment, including Bouncy Castles, Bouncy Castle & Slide Combos, Inflatable Slides, Soft Play, Ball Pools, Carnival & Funfair Games, Garden Games, Interactive Games, Arcade Games, LED Furniture Hire, Rodeo Bull hire and much more.
Do you have entertainment for toddlers and younger children?
Yes. We have a dedicated range of products for younger guests, including the 19 pc Multi Coloured Soft Play set, Large Party Time Ball Pit, Didi Cars (x5) and Didi Trikes. These are ideal for birthday parties, nurseries and toddler groups.
Do you offer products for teenagers and adults too?
Definitely. Many of our attractions are suitable for older guests, including the Multi Coloured Adult Bouncy Castle, Bungee Run (35ft), Gladiator Duel, Prize Crane Arcade Grabber and Boxing Punchbag Machine.
Can you provide face painters, balloon modellers and other staffed entertainment?
Yes. We offer Face Painting, Balloon Modelling and Glitter Tattoos to help add an extra layer of entertainment to children's parties, school events and family fun days.
Do you offer themed event setups?
Yes. Whether you're planning a pastel-themed celebration, a jungle party, a funfair-style event or a corporate promotion, we can recommend products that work together to create the right look and atmosphere.
Venues & Setup
Can your products be used indoors?
Many of them can. We regularly supply village halls, community centres, sports clubs and function rooms. Products such as the Low Ceiling Bouncy Castle, soft play, arcade machines and LED furniture are particularly popular for indoor events.
How much space do I need?
The space required depends on the products you choose. Every item on our website includes size information, and we're always happy to advise if you're unsure whether something will fit in your venue or garden.
Do you deliver, set up and collect the equipment?
Yes. Every hire includes delivery, professional setup and collection. Our team will ensure everything is installed safely and ready to use before your event begins.
Can you provide power for outdoor events?
Yes. If your venue doesn't have access to electricity, we can provide a Diesel Generator or Petrol Generator to power your equipment.
Schools, Community Events & Public Events
What products are popular for school events?
Schools regularly hire our Assault Courses, Sports Games, Carnival & Funfair Games and inflatables for sports days, reward days, summer fetes and end-of-term celebrations.
Can you help with large public events?
Yes. We supply equipment for festivals, community fun days, council events, charity fundraisers and public celebrations. Popular attractions include the 65ft Partytime Assault Course 10ft Platform Slide, Giant Inflatable Dartboard (over 5m high!) and Interactive Penalty Shootout.
Do you provide fun foods for events?
We do. Our Fun Foods range includes the Candy Floss 2hrs, Popcorn Machine 2hrs and Slush Machine 2hrs, all of which are popular additions to parties and public events.
Corporate & Exhibition Hire
Do you offer corporate event entertainment?
Yes. We regularly work with businesses throughout the Midlands, supplying Corporate Hire packages that include interactive games, arcade machines, LED furniture and branded activities.
Can you help with exhibition stands?
Absolutely. Our Exhibition Hire range is designed to help businesses attract visitors, increase engagement and create memorable exhibition experiences.
Which exhibition venues do you work at?
We regularly support exhibitors at Exhibition Hire at the NEC Birmingham, Exhibition Hire at the ICC Birmingham and Exhibition Hire at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
Can exhibition products be branded?
Yes. Selected products, including the Branded Buzz Wire, can be customised to incorporate your company branding, helping you stand out at trade shows, exhibitions and promotional events.
Safety & Insurance
Are your products safety tested?
Yes. Our inflatables and equipment are inspected, maintained and tested in accordance with industry requirements. Safety is a top priority for every hire.
Do you have public liability insurance?
Yes. We carry public liability insurance and can provide documentation if required by schools, venues, local authorities or corporate clients.
Are products cleaned before hire?
Absolutely. All equipment is thoroughly cleaned, checked and prepared before every booking to ensure it arrives in excellent condition.
What happens if bad weather is forecast?
If severe weather makes an outdoor hire unsafe, we'll discuss the available options with you. Depending on the circumstances, this may include postponement, cancellation or alternative indoor-friendly products.
